Father David Lawrence-March

Father David was licensed as the Parish Priest of All Saints in December 2023. Ordained to the Diaconate in 1985 and to the Priesthood in 1986, after serving his Title at St Jude’s, Peterborough, and as a Minor Canon of  the Cathedral, in his home diocese of Peterborough, he spent twenty-five years of his priestly ministry as a school chaplain in both the independent and maintained sectors, before returning to parochial ministry in 2017. Not surprisingly, he remains a great advocate of the Church’s rôle in education, in all its aspects.  He is  also Vice Principal of the Society of the Faith (www.societyofthefaith.org.uk) and serves on the Executive Committee of the Nikaean Club (www.nikaeanclub.org.uk). An ardent supporter of the Arts in general and Music in particular, he is very keen to promote All Saints as an artistic hub in Cheltenham, not least because of its historic links with the composer, Gustav Holst, as well as furthering its profile within the local community.
